Nestled along the banks of the Anacostia River in Southeast DC lies Navy Yard, one of the District’s oldest neighborhoods. Once the US Navy’s largest shipbuilding facility, today the neighborhood is undergoing a rapid transformation following the opening of Nationals Ballpark in 2008.
Our Navy Yard “Neighborhoods” ticket features The Yards Park, an urban oasis where visitors can relax along the river, enjoy outdoor concerts in the summer, or grab a bite to eat before heading to the game. Spanning the Canal Basin is the Yards Park Bridge, a 200 foot steel architectural icon of the park, which connects the Overlook to the Great Lawn.
