An integral part of Pierre L’Enfant’s original plan for Washington, DC, the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood feels like its own little island tucked away in the smallest of the city’s four quadrants.
Our Southwest Waterfront “Neighborhoods” ticket depicts a tranquil summer evening at the marina. Today, the marina area is currently undergoing a massive redevelopment project known as “The Wharf”. This $2 billion project is sparking a renaissance along this milelong stretch of the city’s waterfront.
